Birthdays

Me and my Bros

We had a Birthday party at my Mom's to celebrate the February & March Birthdays in our family. My brother Greg's birthday is at the end of February. Frances my sister in law's birthday is at the very beginning of March. My Brother Kurt and my birthday are in between the beginning and the middle of March! We were celebrating the ages 31,30,28 & 25 this year.

Greg is 3 years and 17 days older than me and Kurt is 2years and 363 days younger than me! How crazy that must have been for my mom over the years to have 3 birthdays within 17 days.

Bathroom Trip

Evidently it was going to take a while!

Monday

We took a walk across the frozen lake to explore the island. Owen was quick to discover deer poop and the open water. After being told several times to stay a way from the open water Owen of course went too close and got his boots all wet. After that happened Luke was saying how Owen never listens. Then about a minute later guess who got too close and broke some ice open and got his boots all wet. Yep, the father of the son that never listens. I even warned him that he was going to brake through the ice. Sometimes it feels as though I have four children to take care of and not just three!

Snowmobile Ride

Owen got to go on a Snowmobile ride with Jordan on Monday before we headed for home!

Relaxing

We all spent a little time just relaxing when we were at Troy and Nancy's!

A few days before we arrived at Troy, Nancy, Dillon and Jordan's house it was Dillon's 18th birthday. Boy does that make me feel old! For those of you that don't know I baby sat for Dillon and Jordan when they were little. I started babysitting Dillon shortly after he turned one! Do you know why I feel old now. I watched both Dillon and Jordan Monday through Friday every day during the summer for several summers, and also some nights and weekends during the school year. I would also stay with them for a week at a time while Nancy and Troy went on vacation! Troy, Nancy, Dillon, and Jordan are like my second family. They included me on lots of their family vacations to the lake and even took me to Florida one year with them! I love this family sooooo much. It was extremely hard for me when they packed up and moved up North to live the resorting life. Even though they are farther away now we still try to spend at least 2 weekends a year at their house and also spend 1 week in one of their amazing cabins! So Dillon is 18 now and is Senior in High School. He was accepted at the college of his number one choice and has decided on his major already. Such a smart young man! Jordan will be 16 in April and will be getting her licence shortly after if she gets going on her behind the wheel. She is such a beautiful girl. Oh, I just love that family!

Legos

Owen spent many hours over the weekend playing with Dillon's Lego's. Owen was in Lego heaven!

Snowmobile

Owen and Ava thought it was fun to pretend they were driving the snowmobile at Nancy and Troys!

Sledding

Owen and Ava had a blast on the sled! I think you could have heard their giggles a mile a way! Luke and Dillon took turns pulling them really fast on the ice and then letting them launch up into the snow banks. I thought it would scare Ava to do this but she just kept on saying more between her giggles! After Dillon and Luke were tired of running on the ice we went for a little walk before heading in to check on Ezra who was sound asleep in the house!
