Flower Garden

We finally made our yearly visit to my favorite flower garden on Sunday! I love walking on the trails and seeing all the beautiful flowers that they have planted. I always wonder how many people and how many hours it takes to keep it looking as wonderful as it does. Well on this trip I had the great idea to do a photo shoot of our three children. However, after hearing my antipicture taking fan of a husband grumble and complain about changing the kids clothes and wanting to take pictures of them my oldest child didn't think that my idea was a great idea at all and well since he thought that his sister went along with it too! On top of that my battery died on my camera so I guess it just wasn't meant to be to get pictures of the 3 of them together. Here are a few pictures I got before my camera quit working.

Swings

We spend a lot of time outside doing this...
We do this in the Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring...
I love when we do this because...
the longer I push them...

the longer we talk about what is on their mind!

On Monday

we found a fun new splash park to play at! It was a perfect day for the kids to run around in the water. Even Ezra was able to play in the bubbling water! All three of them had a blast playing in the water and on the playground.

It's a 9 month thing!

Apparently discovering our living room window is high on the things to do list for 9 month old babies in our family. Turns out that this exact window is a fun place to hang out at least for our 3 children any way!

At 9 months Owen was the sturdiest on his feet of our 3 kiddies. He was almost walking. He would take a few steps and could stand in the middle of a room without assistance. At 9 months Ava was walking around things but needed to hold onto furniture and could stand up with only using one hand for support. Ezra is 9 months old and has just recently started pulling himself up to standing. He hasn't figured out the walking around things while hanging on quite yet, but I see it happening real soon. I have told Luke that I think the difference in Ava and Ezra is because we have had to protect them more from older helpful siblings so they didn't have as much time to be on the floor to explore:) It is funny how with Owen being our first child we were so excited and "worked" with him so he would do things like sitting, crawling, standing and walking at a early age and now that we are to Ezra number 3 we just let him be and don't push for him to move onto the next step. The faster he does stuff the less he needs us and that equals a big boy not a baby. I wish I could freeze time and keep all 3 of them little forever!

Park

After dinner on Sunday we went to the park to play and then went on a "Nature Hike". The kids had a blast walking the trails at the park. They spent some time pretending to be wild animals like bears and squirrels and Ava showed us her dancing skills too!

Bike Ride

Ezra went for his first bike ride a couple days ago! He enjoyed the ride but kept trying to pull his helmet off.

Mommy Ava

Mommy Ava took her baby outside the other day to go on a little adventure, and then they stopped to share a snack!

9 month check up

Ezra had his 9 month check up this morning and it went great! I say great because he is doing wonderful and he didn't have to have any shots at this check up. His Doctor said he is a good looking strong little man. I agree but I guess most Moms would think their baby is cute! Any way Ezra's 9 months stats are as follows:
Height 27 inches (10%)
weighs 19 pounds 11 ounces (32%)
Head 17.76 inches (40%)

Which means his chubby cheeks are deceiving to the eye because he is much smaller than the average 9 month old baby. But, in my opinion he is PERFECT all around!

At 9 months

Owen's stats were 29 inches (75%), and 20 pounds 14 ounces (45%)
Ava's stats were 27 inches (31%) and 18 pounds 11 ounces (48%)

I see this adorable grin every time Owen tells me about the things he and his Daddy are going to do together! You know boy things where Ava and I can't join them, but when Ezra gets to be a bigger boy he can go with too! He just happened to be talking about fishing when I snapped this picture.
