Sunday

We invited Papa, Grandma, Uncle Terry and Auntie Rita over on Sunday to join us for some outdoor fun! We had campfire pizzas for dinner and Smores for desert! As usual the kids kept us well entertained for the evening!

Ezra even taught himself how to drive the Gator! Now he just has to learn how to steer! Every time he ran into something he would call for his Mama until someone came and turned him in another direction.

Potty!

Our Little Man sitting on the potty chair for the first time!

The last several days Ezra has been wanting to sit on the potty chair. It is kind of cute how he goes about it. He goes into the bathroom and then slowly walks backwards until he reaches the toilet then he stands their and waits with a huge smile on his face until I put him on to try and go. So far he has not gone potty on it but he sure enjoys trying!

Bubbles!

Blowing bubbles has been the fun thing to do at our house lately!

36 Weeks

Friday morning I had my 36 week check up. All went well and I was excited to hear that I am already dilated to 2. Our family is getting anxious to see our baby girl!

Girls Night Out

Friday night was "Girl's Night Out" for me! This month was planned by my Mom. We started our evening with dinner at Granite City and then went to see the movie Bridesmaid. Some how in the process of planning this event through lots of emails it was decided that my aunt Beth was going to wear her wedding dress and the rest of us would be her bridesmaid's! It was a great night with lots of laughter! I LOVE my CRAZY relatives!

Program, Picnic & Last Day

Monday night was Owen's end of the year preschool program and picnic. The night started off with the kids singing songs. This years theme was "Spring". Owen did a great job singing all of the songs! Then we prayed for our meal. Before we were released for dinner Owen's teacher passed out awards. Owen was very proud of his award for 2 years of attendance! We all ate dinner and then the kids were free to play on the playground. It was a fun night.

Then today (Wednesday) Owen had his very last day of preschool. He even brought his teacher a flower that he picked out all by himself. He said he had a great day and that they did a lot of fun stuff! He went to school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8-11 this year. It was kind of a hard morning for me because today marked the end of Owen's Preschool year's. He is growing up way to fast for me. In just a few short months he will start Kindergarten and I am honestly not ready for him to be that big yet. I am so thankful that we decided to home school him because I would be a wreck if I had to send him off to school from 8am-3pm next fall.

Cup

Our Little Man has officially graduated from using a sippy cup. He does a great job drinking out of a cup like a big boy!

He can even drink and hold onto a half eaten banana at the same time!

Our Library

One of our favorite hang outs is our local library!

Some may find that strange but we love it! All of the workers know our names and we of course know all of their names as well. The kids and I go to the library at least once a week and it is not unusual for us to be there for a couple of hours. Our normal day to go is Tuesday mornings so that the kids can take part in story hour. Story hour consists of the kids singing songs, listening to stories and then doing an art project. Both of the kids enjoy the singing and the stories. Ava LOVES doing the art projects but Owen loses interest in them fast. He usually goes and picks out the books that he wants to bring home for the week instead! Once he is happy with what he finds he takes a seat in the kids corner and starts reading until I say it is time to go. While we are at the library Ezra is usually content to just sit in the stroller and take every thing in. But, of course there are times at the end of our visits that he just insists on being released so I let him out to explore. He thinks he is pretty cool when he gets to walk around and touch the books.

Piggies

Ava asked me to put ponies and clips in her hair this morning. She not only asked if I would do it but was very specific where she wanted each item placed. I was told "NO" when I said I needed to use a comb to make them even. So she ended up with lopsided piggies and 3 clips. She looked very cute from the front but the back was a mess. A comb would have made it look a lot better. After I was done she ran to the bathroom to take a look. She as you can tell liked what she saw. However, after about an hour she had pulled all her accessories out. I guess she likes the natural look and feel best!

Ezra's last day!

Thursday was Ezra's last day of ECFE. He and I went to school to play with other children his age for an hour every other Thursday morning! When we started 9 months ago he was still just a baby, but now he is a toddler and is getting to be such a big boy. We played outside on the ECFE's playground for his last day. I even got a 10 minute massage that felt wonderful. Ezra's teacher arranged for a massage specialist to come and give all the Mom's a massage! What an excellent idea she had!

Ava's last day of ECFE

Tuesday was Ava's last day of school. The two of us went to her ECFE class together every other Tuesday for an hour and half. We had a lot of fun together on her last day. First she decorated a picture frame that when it was finished has a picture of her and I from her first day of school. Then we had free time where we played in the classroom for a while. After that was snack time. We had ice cream and she got to pick her own toppings! We finished the day outside on the playground. I guess you could say that it is officially summer vacation for Ava! Our Princess will start her first year of preschool in September. It is hard to believe that she is old enough to be a preschooler already.

Lunch

The weather was PERFECT at our house today so we decided to eat our lunch outside! This week the weather has been great and we are spending lots and lots of time outside enjoying it!

Wagon Ride

We spent most of the day outside on Sunday doing projects around the yard and having fun as a family! They thought Daddy pulling the three of them around the yard in the wagon was pretty great!
