Wordless Wednesday

Another Work Trip

Luke had to be away from home for 3 nights for work. The kids and I packed our bags and went with him! We didn't go with him because he was going to be in one of our favorite towns. Nope, we went with him so he wouldn't be sad and lonely without us for 3 nights! My Mom decided to join us for this work trip too. She did this just to help me out with the kids, and definitely not because she loves the area that we were staying in!

We left our house at nap time on Tuesday afternoon. We checked into the hotel room unpacked our stuff then went out to eat for dinner. After dinner we found a park to play at and then went for a walk by the water for a while before heading back to the hotel room for the night. I didn't have my camera with on Tuesday so no pictures to show you.

Wednesday while Luke was at work we spent most of our time by the lake. Then when he was done with work he took Owen and Ava on a tour of a old huge ship. After that we ate dinner and then rented a bike big enough for all of us to ride together! That bike ride is one I will never forget! When we were done with our bike ride we walked around for a little bit before going back to the hotel so the kids could go swimming for a little bit before they went to bed.

Thursday

We had a fun packed, lots of walking, busy day! We visited the Aquarium while Luke was at work. Then when Luke was done working for the day we went to a park had a picnic and climbed a huge tower. After that we went back to the hotel to swim before going to bed.

Friday

The last day of our trip we went for a long walk by the lake. After that we had a picnic at a park and played for a while. Then I loaded 4 tired children into our van and headed for home.
