Thankful

I am thankful for many things this year, but to keep this post short I will only list a few of them.

I am thankful that God loves me. I am also thankful that He gave me all of the goofy people in the picture below! I love them more than words can say, and I am truly blessed to have them in my life.

Nap Please...

When we arrived at the community center I asked Megan who was working at the front desk "What time do you open on Thursday for Black Friday" of course after laughing at me and telling me what I just said she told me. Oh, and I might as well admit that I already forgot what time she told me they open.

Then we went to the library for story time. All went well and then we left to go home to have some lunch but as I was walking in the door with Ezra in my arms Ava tells me "Mom I just heard the phone say we left our stroller in the parking lot." So I got everyone out to the van again and went back to the library to get my stroller.

All I can say is at least I had all of my kids in the van and didn't leave one of them in the parking lot, and I am very tired today and really could use a nap!

It Snowed!

We went outside this morning to play in the snow and shovel our driveway! The first picture is my favorite. Why? Well, I was taking pictures of Ezra eating the snow (yes I let my kids do that) and Ava decided to sneak up behind him and be in the picture. The funniest part about it is that after I took the picture she started laughing at herself and asked me if I could see her behind Ezra in the picture! I love that girls sense of humor!

Ily is 5 months old

Library Book Fort

We keep all the books that we borrow from the Library on the bottom shelf of the book case you see in these pictures. We keep them there so that they have less of a chance to get mixed in with all of our own books that are up stairs on a book shelf. Any way, Owen enjoys building forts with big comfy nests to lay in while he reads all of his library books! Here is what today's fort looks like...

1 Day 3 Life Changing Events

One year ago today we found out I was pregnant with our beautiful baby Ily.
Life here on earth begins.
One year ago today our little man Ezra celebrated his first Birthday.
Life here on earth progresses.
One year ago today our Papa Harvey went to be with Jesus.
Life Here on earth ends.

Even though our days here on earth are numbered and can be shorter than what we would like we can have eternal life in Heaven and see all of our loved ones again with one simple task. Put your trust in Jesus Christ and ask him into your life. Sadly not everyone does this easy task. So, I challenge you today if you have not already done so ask Jesus into your heart. That way I will be able to see you every day in heaven when we get there.

We miss you Papa Harvey. You are in our thoughts and conversations often. Some day we will see you again!

They Love Her!

Ava loves, loves, loves her baby sister Ily. She is by her side, holding her, or just checking on her often during the day. Ava is quite the little mommy. She is quick to let me know if she thinks Ily needs something. She is very protective of Ily too. Ava makes sure that Ezra is gentle with her and is by her side if a stranger is near her when we are out and about. I love listening to her talk to Ily especially when she makes up stories about the 2 of them going on adventures together!

It surprises me how much Ezra loves his baby sister. He has not grown tired of wanting to hold her yet. He makes sure she has her blankie by her at all times especially if she starts crying. He loves to be right by her no matter what she is doing. I never have to ask him twice to get something for Ily he loves helping me with her! He says her name very well and has for a while but never calls his other siblings by their names. He gives her hugs and kisses and says "love you" to her numerous times a day. I have found that the only way I can get him to sit for a group picture is if I let him be the one to hold Ily!

And, of course Owen loves his baby sister too, but shows it in a different way then Ava and Ezra. He will mention things to me like I think we need to buy the baby bullet to make Ily baby food because it is healthier than store bought food. (He saw a commercial advertising the Baby Bullet) While circling things he wants for Christmas in toy magazines he takes the time to find and circle things for Ily without even being asked. He likes to help pick out "cute" clothes for Ily to wear for the day. Ily has a cold and when she was coughing real hard several times he told me that we better take Ily to the Doctor's office because she is sick. I also have heard him telling her that she is his favorite sister.

Fancy Nancy/Fancy Clancy

A few weeks ago our Library hosted a Fancy Nancy/Fancy Clancy party. The kids dressed up in their nicest clothes and then after a few pictures we went to the party. Owen insisted that Ezra needed to wear a tie and didn't care when I told him it didn't match his outfit! Then Ava realized that we forgot to put her and Ily's head bands on so we had to take a few more pictures of just the girls.

At the party we sang fancy songs, listened to fancy stories, made fancy crafts, and made fancy snacks. We had a fancy good time!

Halloween

Our Kitty and Our Ladybug

Our Ninja and Our Puppy

Ready to Go Trick or Treating!

As you saw in the above pictures we had a costume emergency with our puppy. Friday when he had it on the zipper worked, but as we got him ready on Monday night it was broken. So after a quick stop at our next door neighbors house we headed to Papa and Grandma's house because we knew that Grandma could fix him. So when we got there she told us instead of trying to fix it that she had a costume that he could wear. He went from being a little puppy to a cute horse! After a short visit we then moved on to stop at other family and close friends in town!

Pumpkins

On Sunday we carved our pumpkins!
